Supported Holidays
for the Disabled

Holidays with Help organises holidays for groups of disabled people.

The holidays are open to individuals, couples and family groups as well group bookings. The cost of the holiday includes accomodation, meals, activities and trained helpers.

Holidays available for 2011:

• Saturday 20th August to Friday 26th August - Chichester, Sussex Cost: £375 per adult

• Friday 11th November to Monday 14th November- Lowestoft, Suffolk Cost: £155 per adult

The holidays include a mix of indoor and outdoor activities with evening entertainment.

Care is provided, though you are welcome to bring your own carer. Medical and nursing advice is also available.

Yellow Submarine provides subsidised residential holidays for adults (18+ years) with learning disabilities to destinations all across the UK.

It has additional "respite grants" covering approximately 40% of the holiday cost to adults with learning difficulties who live with their families.

The organisation also offers short breaks and day trips around Oxfordshire. They can also organise unique holidays for groups of young people with learning difficulties by planning the trip and providing the support.
