Please be aware that Whitby, Scarborough & Ryedale DAG ONLY have beach wheelchairs in Whitby and not in Scarborough.


ANSWER:
Hi Ian yes you are correct there isn't a beach wheelchair permanently at Scarborough.

However, on the DAG website it says "A wheeled transport bag is available for taking a chair to the countryside or to another beach. Details are available from the DAG office."

This would mean that the wheelchair would have to be booked in advance.
