Cleethorpes - Lincolnshire

The resort hub/beach safety office. currently have two new beach wheelchairs available.

Our 2 Sand-cruiser beach friendly wheelchairs are available from The Resort Hub on Central Prom Cleethorpes. This is opposite the Pier/Papa’s fish and chips DN35 8SE.

Hiring is FREE.

The chair comes with a basic seat belt around the waist, should you wish to add your own for further support you are welcome too.

Hoisting facilities are not available, but the chairs arm rests raise to make transferring easier. The maximum weight of the intended user is 120kg.

You must leave your own chair as a deposit, which will be safely stored while you enjoy the beach.

Wheelchairs are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between users.

09:30hrs to 15:30hrs October to March 31st.

09:30hrs to 17:30hrs April to September 31st

Cleethorpes Pier

Located at Beach Safety Office on sea front (opposite the pier).

Collect the beach chair and leave your own wheelchair safely stored in their shed.

No deposit needed.

Each access down on to the beach.

Thank you Laura for your submission. We contacted the Cleethorpes Tourist Information who also told us:

- Access to the beach can be made via a ramp opposite the Beach Safety Office or via a slipway next to the pier.

- Disabled parking available outside the office and along the promenade.

- Disabled toilets located around the corner to the office.
