Blyth beach is covered by the charity Beach Access North East, which also covers Newbiggin-by-the-sea, Whitley Bay and South Shields.

It provides the wheelchairs FREE OF CHARGE and has been since April 2017 when the charity took over the running of the chairs from a commercial company which did charge.

To book a chair call 0300 999 4444 and choose the option that is for your preferred beach.

Beach Access North East

By prior arrangement Beach Access North East are able loan wheelchairs for other beaches and would require only a refundable deposit for this loan if the wheelchair was to be kept overnight.
