Pembrokeshire Beach Wheelchairs
The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority purchased the beach wheelchairs after the successful trial by the Pembrokeshire Access Group on Saundersfoot Beach.
They are now available to hire from a number of locations to help people gain access to Pembrokeshire's sandy beaches.
Some operators charge up to £5 per session others ask for donations to a charity or upkeep of wheelchair.
A session is usually as long as is needed and can be anything from half an hour to half a day or even a full day.
The wheelchairs can now be found at the following locations:
Available for hire all year for use on beaches around the National Park.

The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park have a map showing easy access beaches and an online search facility to find wheelchair walks.
Their Walks for All Guide provides route details and map. Individual walks can be downloaded as a PDF and viewed on a SMART phone.

The Pembrokeshire Access Group has successfully obtained funding for about six beach wheelchairs and is still fundraising for more. ANSWER:
